Right here in Clallam County, people are working hard every day to provide for their families, care for their children, and build a better future. But too many of our neighbors are one paycheck away from crisis. They’re not strangers—they’re the parents at school pick-up, the cashier at the grocery store, and the young adult trying to start their career.
The theme of Celebrate United 2024 is United We Rise and Shine. We are looking forward to launching a year of excitement and hope with a delicious brunch buffet and a panel of community experts. Panel members include: Wendy Bart, CEO of Olympic Peninsula YMCA; Mary Budke, CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula; Wendy Sisk, CEO of Peninsula Behavioral Health; and our moderator, Christy Smith, CEO of United Way of Clallam County.
