United Way of Clallam County and the Clallam Community Foundation are committed to supporting local students as they pursue higher education. With support from generous donors, United Way of Clallam County awarded $36,737.17 in scholarships to 24 students across the Olympic Peninsula. These awards support our future nurses, linemen, educators, and so much more.

2025 Scholarships Awarded

Port Angeles High School Scholarship Award Night took place on May 21, 2025. Our Educational Attainment Specialist Kennedy Cameron attended to congratulate the students and connect with them on the final steps to receive their checks. Students at other high schools were either notified of their awards at their Scholarship Awards nights or by email from Kennedy. *Pictured left to right: Bridget Weed and Kennedy Cameron

We awarded scholarships to students from Sequim, Port Angeles, Forks, Clallam Bay, and Neah Bay.

About United Way Scholarships

United Way of Clallam County hosts six scholarship funds through the Clallam Community Foundation, a long-term investment fund for United Way and other Foundation Partner Organizations. Families or individuals who make a gift of $25,000 or more to the Foundation can start a named fund. The following are named funds dedicated to helping local students pursue higher education or career training. 

  • Bright, Haygood, Copsey Fund
  • Hull Family Fund
  • Anne & James Minton Scholarship
  • Mac & Phyllis Munro Scholarship Fund
  • Jenny Steelquist Art Saves Lives Scholarship
