Education Grant Awarded

We are excited to announce that United Way of Clallam County has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the First Fed Foundation! This grant will support our Educational Attainment Program, which will continue to provide education and services to students struggling with barriers to their education. The Educational Attainment Program provides financial aid support, scholarship navigation, and other resources to ensure that students of all ages can obtain their credentials, enter the workforce, and have financial security.

About the Educational Attainment Program

The Educational Attainment Program is the result of a partnership between United Way of Clallam County and Peninsula College with the aim to support individuals in Clallam County who are completing student financial aid applications including the FAFSA and WASFA. The Educational Attainment Specialist offers both in-person and virtual informational workshops, as well as other forms of support to help families and individuals navigate the process of finding and applying for financial aid, whether it be for a 4-year university, 2-year college, or CTE program.
