Women United members are invited to the second meeting of the newly expanded Women United Committee. We will be discussing what area we want to focus our efforts as a group. Lunch will be provided.
Please RSVP to Community Impact Manager Laurel Shriner: impact@unitedwayclallam.org
Our Goal
The goal of Women United is to unite passionate women in Clallam County who want to make positive, tangible change. As a group, we’ll be involved in advocacy, volunteerism, and fundraising to support causes that matter to us. Together, we’ll raise funds for a specific cause (chosen by the group) and work with local community agencies to make a direct impact. Joining Women United is not just about giving back—it’s also about seeing firsthand the incredible work being done in our community and understanding the challenges that local human service agencies face. It’s an opportunity to be part of something truly meaningful.
About Women United
Historically, our Women United group in Clallam County has hosted impactful events raising awareness about domestic violence, celebrating local women business owners, and creating a supportive space for women to connect. Our community of over 500 local women on Facebook is made up of individuals who are eager to support each other, make a difference, and who actively show up to support local causes, whether through attendance, donations, or volunteering. To date, Women United has hosted ten successful events and raised over $100,000. But with the support and momentum from incredible women like you, we know we can achieve even more!
This event is for Women United Committee members. If you are interested in joining Women United, please contact Laurel at impact@unitedwayclallam.org
