Galentine's Day 2024

Galentine's Day 2024 - Clallam County Supporting Women Supporting Women in Need

Grab your besties, your bae, and your squad and join us for the party of the year! This event is truly a celebration of all the powerful women in Clallam County. We will be highlighting the incredible woman-owned and operated businesses and organizations in our community, while giving back to women in need.

Galentine's 2024 will feature a catered meal; a heavily staffed bar serving beer, wine, champagne cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages; a sweet treat tower at each table; a fashion show of local boutiques; luxury swag bags; and an epic silent auction.

The biggest news: this event is now COED!

Sponsorship Opportunities

Want to do good and market your business at the same time? Sponsorships are a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on both our community and prospective customers. Each sponsorship level has unique benefits. Donate a Silent Auction Item

We are still in need of silent auction items! In 2023, the silent auction alone raised nearly $6,000! Donating to the silent auction is a great option for businesses who want to support this important cause but aren't ready to invest in an event sponsorship. It's also perfect for local artists and makers who want to put their work in front of our unique mix of attendees.

The most desirable auction items include: massage and photography sessions, original art, vacation rental stays, professional services, unique experiences, handmade crafts, jewelry, luxury gift baskets, and more! If you aren't sure that your item would be a good fit, contact us:

The Cause

Galentine's Day is not just about the party. The fact is, that domestic violence is pervasive and life shattering. 1 in 3 women have experienced violence by an intimate partner, and 1 in 7 have been injured by and intimate partner, according to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Every Day, United Way of Clallam County raises money to support nonprofit groups that provide critical services to people fleeing domestic violence in our community. This event is dedicated not only to raising these funds, but also awareness, and is a reminder that none of us is alone when it comes to this heartbreaking issue.

Nonprofit Partners

United Way helps fund 23 nonprofit agencies. Here are two that work directly with victims of domestic or sexual violence:

Healthy Families of Clallam County

Services include: crisis intervention services, shelter, transitional housing, therapy, financial assistance, advocacy-based counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, system advocacy, classes, support services, and referrals for child and adult survivors. Visit their website:

Mariposa House

They have a trauma-informed environment and provide a great deal of mobile advocacy to meet people where they are to make goals to overcome barriers. About Women United

There is power when women come together and it's been proven over and over in studies that women who support women are more successful overall! Collectively, we can make a larger impact in business and in our community. We, at United Way, are harnessing all of the empowering energy in Clallam County to form a Women's United affinity group where we can come together, build skills, raise each other up and channel the power of collaboration...and have a ton of fun doing it! This will be an all inclusive safe space where we support each other and feel welcome to have a voice.

Our Women United affinity group aims to represent every race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability, and religion; reflect a spectrum of gender identity; and connect across Clallam County. We wholly commit to being anti-racist and anti-oppressive so that, through our genuine connections, we are affirmed as we strive to make our community better and support each other!
