This season, we’re shining a light on our nonprofit partners. United Way of Clallam County builds meaningful partnerships with local nonprofits to help build a stronger, healthier and more compassionate community. Read below to learn how the following nonprofit partners work with us to bring community change, the amazing work they do and how a donation to United Way can help local families this holiday season. Strong Starts for Children
  • You can help provide nutritious meals, supportive adult guidance, and programs promoting academic success, healthy living, and character development for youth ages 5-18 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula
  • You can help provide five week-long overnight summer camp sessions for adults and children with special needs where they will have the opportunity to increase skills and independence in a setting otherwise not available to them. Camp Beausite Northwest
  • You can help provide positive programs that emphasize building strong kids, strong families and strong communities at the YMCA with a particular focus on health and fitness, recreation.

Safe homes and warm meals
  • You can help provide food to meet the basic needs of Clallam County families and individuals who are unable to purchase groceries for themselves. Forks Community Food Bank
  • You can help provide emergency relief following individual disasters in Clallam County -  American Red Cross   
  • You can help provide affordable housing and home repair to hardworking, low-income people in Clallam County. Habitat for Humanity
  • You can help provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, supportive services and counseling and assistance to homeless and at-risk individuals and families. Serenity House 
  • You can help provide 24-hour crisis response and shelter, medical, legal, and advocacy based counseling to victims of domestic/sexual violence. Mariposa House
