COVID-19 - Donor & Recipient Information

 

As of 07/31/2020 we have received $251,115.00 in donations to our COVID 19 Fund. Thanks to these donations we have awarded 27 grants totaling $184,110.14!

07/14/2020 Recipients / Totaling $14,393.00
*Conzerned Citizen - For commercial freezer, paper supplies and other disposable items and groceries.

07/10/2020 Recipients / Totaling $8,367.14

*Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic (Sequim Free Clinic) - Funding will go for furniture to make their waiting room easily cleanable during COVID.

*First Step Family Support Center - Funding will go for goods and services to support client outreach.

 

06/23/2020 Recipients / Totaling $16,800.00

*Concerned Citizens - Funding will go to childcare scholarships.

*Mariposa House - Funding will go to stock food pantries in Forks and Beaver.

*Clallam Mosaic- Funding will go to continue virtual programming.

 

4/29/20 Recipients / Totaling $26,600.00

*Concerned Citizens - Funding will go to Personal Protective Equipment for home visits, day care and group home staff.

*Childcare Action Council - Funding will go to cleaning supplies for their partner day cares. 

*Serenity House of Clallam County - Funding will go to expanding shelter capacity. 

*The Answer for Youth (TAFY) - Funding will to go food, hygiene packs and other supports for homeless clients. 

*Sequim Community - Funding will go to aid for increased demand for financial assistance.

 

4/22/20 Recipients / Totaling $28,000.00

*Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula - Funding will go to childcare and meals at both Port Angeles and Sequim locations. 

*Forks Community, Port Angeles and Sequim Food Banks - Funding will go to food supplies for the Clallam Community. 

 

4/15/20 Recipients / Totaling $19,250.00

*Camp Beausite NW - Funding will go to sending a "Camp in a Box" activity package to 150 campers this summer and upfront costs of running a respite weekend.

*St. Vincent de Paul - Funding will help those in the Sequim School District who are directly affected by the COVID pandemic due to loss or reduced income. Funds will assist with rent/mortgage payments, utlities and food. 

 

4/8/20 Recipients / Totaling $15,000.00

*Lutheran Community Services - Funding to continue operations due to lost grant support.

*West Olympic Betterment Association - Funding for those with extremely limited financial means to withstand the hardships associated with the COVID pandemic.

 

4/3/20 Recipients / Totaling $23,000.00

*Clallam Mosaic - Funding to support an outreach progam to individuals with disabilities and their families. 

*Port Angeles Food Bank - Funding to provide protein and produce to 300-500 households a week for several weeks. 

*Olympic Community Action Programg (OLYCAP) - Funding for Olycap's food bank and senior nutrition programs. 

 

3/27/20 Recipients / Totaling $32,700.00

*Sequim Food Bank  - Funding for additional food storage. 

*North Olympic Healthcare Network - Funding for medical supplies. 

*Our Resilient Community Alliance (O.R.C.A) - Funding for housing expenses for 5 women and their children. 

*Olympic Peninsula YMCA - Port Angeles - Funding for childcare at Dry Creek Elementary for First Responders and Medical Professionals. 

*Boys & Girls Club of the Olympic Peninsula - Funding for childcare & meals at both Port Angeles & Sequim locations. 

*First Step Family Support Center - Funding for emergency diapers & formula for families in need.
